PPI added after card taken out

Hi,

I have a natwest credit card now for about 10 years. Not long after I had taken the card out I was contacting by Natwest customer service suggesting that i took out PPI on the card.At the time i was a bit uncertain whether I needed it but the customer service operator said they would add this to the card and if i was not happy I could contact them within 30 days and they would take it off.

At the time it was such a small amount i could not be bothered ringing them up and cancelling it.
Do i have a case of being missold PPI?

Agree with above. nothing you have said so far indicates any wrongdoing.

  • The contract is that you agree that they represent you in any PPI complaint and there is no timescale to that. You decided of your own volition to pursue the complaint yourself when it was already too late as you had already signed a legally-binding contract.

If you don't pay their bill, the company will pursue you through the courts if necessary which will end up costing you even more.

..and bumping up a thread from September in the process!:)

Luckily, the original poster from this thread is unlikely to be confused as he hasn't returned to the thread (or the forum).
