we have a dog harness that we paid a fair bit for and really like the pattern of it as it matches doggy's lead etc. we can't use it as a harness but would really like to have it 'converted' into a collar for him as its still in great condition and like i say, matches all his funky stuff
where would be a good place to take it to have this done? it should be quite simple as the harness is the right width and has the clasps, adjustable bits and d-rings and what not. bit stumped about who to ask and don't know anyone 'crafty' in person!

A saddler might do it.0

Or a proper cobbler, they often advertise handbag repairs so would have the sewing facilities to cope with a collar.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

A proper saddler or harness maker certainly would do it.. A saddlery might just sell ready made stuff, so you might need to check a few. Google or the online telephone directories should direct you to ones in your area.

I have a saddler friend who makes dog collars, so I'd start with a search for saddlers locally.0
