Powerplan comoany limited

15 years ago I took out extended warranty with this company(no claim money back deal). They went bust before I could claim
after all this time I have received 2 letters relating to payout of moneys. I think I was owed over 300 pounds. I got cheques for 5 and 7 pounds!!
Letter states I dont have to accept them which makes me suspicious!
Any ideas or help out there?

  • As one of their creditors, you have been paid a share of what's left of the dissolved company's assets. Others who were owed far more than you will have been paid similarly modest amounts. You don't have to accept any payment, but it's difficult to see how you might receive any more..
