Unisex adult pajamas

Options
I am looking for some unisex adult pajamas for two adults age 20 and 25. I have looked high and low.
The cheaper the better.
I don't want onesies or anything like that.

What makes pjs a sex? DH wears some pj trousers some one gave me because I don't wear them very often . He wears them with a t shirt. In the past I've worn old fashioned men's pyjamas.

I would have thought pyjamas, whether old fashioned shirt tops or with t shirts were unisex. :)

Or there is the old fashioned night shirt......:)

I can't say I've ever seen any pj's specifically marked as 'unisex'.

Do you want to buy two pairs exactly the same colour? If the girl ones are to 'girly' coloured for the man to wear just buy two pairs of men's ones in a neutral colour.

I would have thought something like this would do?

    Or these?

If I wore nightwear I'd wear either of those.

  • Primark do a good range of Pyjamas, I sometimes buy the men's in a small size and they fit about the same as a woman's 12.
What are the pyjamas for? fancy dress?

I suppose you'd have to get men's ones that could possibly pass as womens, iyswim.

    I imagine they're cut differently.
  • My wife also buys mens PJs from Primark in Small - lots of choices and would count as unisex IMO. She doesn't like the way the womens ones are tailored or have childlike designs so goes for like tartan bottoms with t shirts usually.

I like M&S men's pj trousers as they have pockets and are a bit longer (tallish woman). Medium fits me well as a 12/14

They are cut differently, just like men's shirts are cut differently, but doesn't mean we women haven't been pinching them for years and making them look good ;)

You could have a look on ebay - my daughter needed some plain white pyjamas for a costume, and I bought some from a reseller which obviously came from a factory in China so there was a whole range of colours available.
  • Thanks for the replies. I had thought of just buying mens PJs which are plain or tartan.

    No.
We have a tradition in the house that we all get new PJs for Christmas Eve. I have started doing joke things like buying mine and my daughters matching.
This year I am going to make them wear the same.
I am also going to crochet everyone some daft slippers.
That's why I did not want to spend too much. Its just a jokey thing!

I'd go with Primark mens ones then, the jersey-fabric rather than the cotton.
