both gave an apg of £5.79 so depends on what fillers you want.
dog food free with cs
edit both gave the same before the 10% but sains gave the higher apg due to the butter.

Good Evening
I fell off the radar about mid-afternoon and there seems loads of pages to read up on since then
I didn't get shopping today. DS2 had a very bad day at school and it was felt he woukd better having a day off at home for some time out. Nothing major, just too many minor changes for him to handle in one day
Been a long time since he was sent home like that.
I'll try and read back a bit0 -

I believe they're also available for a similar price in home bargains if that's of any use.0 -
Sainsbury's cut Nectar points in half
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5089468
Doesn't matter - I don't buy much with Sains. and won't be shopping much there, if at all. I don't pay to collect points from Sains., I collect them from Ad points, Nectie search and the HB survey once a month.
I notice how they phrase it: as "changing the way", rather than slashing the points and not rewarding you much. Well, if they don't think I'm worth 'rewarding', then I'm not rewarding them:p.
Also no receiving points for bag re-use. Then I'm not going to take my own bag, as there's no benefit doing so! (I'm being a bit flippant here of course:o.)
But..so much for Sains. having environmental credentials. Hardly encouraging bag re-use are they, it could be argued?
"While this means..., you'll still..."
Yes, another noting of the terminology! The use of the word "While" to preface something - gosh I'm so cynical!:D - as to acknowledge the 'bad' side (for us, customers) but then put a "but" to it to try to downplay it.
You'll still get a point per litre of fuel... (...until we remove it?!?:think:)
But, let's do my usual rewording of anything that comes from a company. Where "pay less" becomes "pay more..." etc.
"This means you'll get fewer points on your shopping."
Full stop.
(I've changed the word "earn" as well, as not fond of the promotional aspect behind that word.)
Not that points on my shopping encourages any spending. With this slashing of points, they go up so much less now. But then they never went up quickly with having to spend pounds!:eek: And not even able to take a bag, buy a loose shave of a parsnip for a penny, collect a point (1p spend for what, in spend on groceries would have been costing you £1:eek:) then return and another bit of veg. for a penny, in a bag. Sadly every loophole closed:(:rotfl:.
I'm not sure what they are planning or what the thinking behind the "change" is. It won't encourage me to shop there - indeed may be the final straw but, for the vast majority people, it will make no difference to their shopping habits I suspect. People don't really pay much attention to points - they just shop where it is convenient.
If they do, then the cutting of points by T several years back - didn't help increase customers did it? Sains going down the same road? (Why would they?)
Anyway, I don't collect points from spending at Sains.0 -
