    I loved/ hated picking tatties. Dad run the squad so had many a welly on the rear when I was greeting cause it was so cold or tired. Loved paytime thought I was loaded. :j

    that photo is so cute bananababe did not quote it if you want to take it down, my boys loved potato picking for the first half an hour trying to fill a tray up the quickest then get bored,

    I've never heard of tattie holidays, but funny enough that was me yesterday trying to gather them all in before the rain gets to them this afternoon. Only 1 more bag to go! I would attempt to store them properly but there's not a lot of point really, I didn't heap the soil up as much as I could have so there aren't as many as I'd hoped. Very nice though, they're Picasso, £6 a bag for about 25kg at our local farm shop, I just planted the last dozen to see what would happen so I'm counting this lot as freebies :D
