I watched a you tube video of how they catheterise through a very small stoma on your stomach (sometimes they can even be hidden in your belly button apparently!). Was a bit weird, but I'm sure you get used to it!
I've just got visions of a bag coming unstuck, leaking, showing through clothes, and generally being a pain. And the pictures of the stomas involved with those are huge, like a giant red cricket ball coming out your side. I guess if you don't have any choice and have to have one you get used to it, but I'd much prefer the other option.
I'm really pleased your sister in law feels she has her life back with it though, thats great to hear and makes me feel a lot more positive about things.0 -

Good afternoon elite, not read back from last night yet as have had a migraine which I have been trying to sleep off. Almost gone now, just left with "the feeling" now which I hope won't flare up again. Off for a catch up to see what you have all been up to0

how much to the steam pots work out as please?
DP would like these but no one else in the house eats tuna so I don't want to spend a lot of money on him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
ooh god, I am cr*p at maths
here goes…
The APG thinks you bought them for £2.69 x 2 = £5.38 and compares to £4.
So gives you £1.38 + 0.40 = £1.78 APG for each 2 comparative ones.
When you paid £3 for 2
I may be miles out as I say I am rubbish at maths! but someone will correct me (please do) x100 -

I'm not obsessed with my looks at all (am nothing to look at!) but I'm only 39, and the thought of having a bag isn't very pleasant. I think if I was 30 years older I wouldn't care!
Aww Ladyshopper, don't do yourself down. I'm sure you are beautiful. Hope everything goes well for you xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
