Some of us have to work :( unlike you and PD :rotfl:

 I have work, just not been told about it yet. I found out yesterday that I've been booked for this weekend but my boss hasn't actually asked me, so I'm not doing it, well that and he usually takes about 2 months to pay me.

It's a full time job living with Mr TS. ;) :rotfl:

I count myself very lucky, I am in a privileged position not to have to work. But then I am not materialistic so was happy with a portable tv for over 20 years, no smart phone etc and was happy not to have holidays abroad etc.

I had planned to return to work when the girls were old enough but then having elderly parents put paid to that. When the house is organised I will get off my bottom and look for paid employment, you can only twiddle thumbs and fingers for so long. :o

Hi Emmap, yes it was me.
I'm getting Virgin Media at the end of the month and it comes with 6 months free Netflix, I was wondering if it's possible to get the US version when watching through the TiVo box. I don't really know how it works, but we may use it through Xbox or smartphones too.
    I'm a noob at these things :o

I think if you have something like an Apple TV you can definitely get US netflix. Otherwise I'm not sure about TiVo generally. Xbox should work. All you'd need to do is install the Netflix app and login using your free Netflix account details then alter your DNS settings so it seems as though you're streaming from the US. Eventually you'd have to pay for Netflix of course but it's worth it IMHO to get US netflix. I don't even use the UK one really. I'd prefer it if I could just pay for the US one outright.
