Yes we knew but worth a reminder. Buying 3V can help if you route them through to cash out (PayPal seems to be the best option unless it has changed aaa straight back to cash)..

I will always remember when my brother was 3 and was "helping" in the garden, mum came out and nearly had a fit, he was sucking on a slug (nightshift please ignore!) like a lolly, must have really liked it because he screamed like billio when she took it away from him :D Can't be too bad, the French eat snails!

Another memorable garden moment was when my daughter was about 18 months old. She was out in the garden by the cotoneaster, went out to see what she was doing. She was stroking a massive bumble bee, it must have been really soft because she had this amazing look on her face, and the bee must have liked it because it just sat there letting her stroke it :T:T

    Re: slugs,

My sister put her foot in her shoe and squished a big slug that had been hiding in it.

Her toenail dkscoured and she had to wait until it grew out

Definitely able to watch it through the xbox, but you may struggle through the Tivo, but I have not tried to be fair.

I don't think you can get the American Netflix version through your Tivo (as it is a built in app ... and you are not supposed to be able to get the US version in the UK ... but you can ;)). I believe you have to use a proxy server to access the US site (to make it think you are in the US) - apart from that your login should work. As it is effectively a voucher through VM, you can sign up for the free trial first for a month then add the 6 month free trial voucher.

Is it possible to view the US Netflix without Virgin media, which isn't available in our area? We have a TVx, not sure if that's the same as TiVo  and also an Xbox. I don't know much about technical stuff such as proxy servers but OH does.

I have an app which enables me to make a "to watch" list for films and TV series, also shows which are available on Netflix so I was disappointed to find that nothing in my list was available on the UK Netflix since my app is American. UK Netflix is full of rubbish with nothing I want to watch

    Good morning everyone :)

    Morning all

I seem to have woken up with half a blocked nose

I've been working among a germ fest this week so I hope this is not the beginning of something. I don't deal with these things particularly well :o

Good morning qoc and the lovely elite :hello: This flu/cold is awful - on week 3 for me and just seems to have ramped up a gear so hope you're not coming down with it :(

Good morning:) no time to play as off to London to see my Consultant and bubbs hope DH gets on okay at hospital today .:hello:catchup later .

Hope it goes well in London nanny. Good luck Mr Bubbs too xx

We had a death in the household last night, our little budgie Fergie went to budgie heaven :A Not sure what happened as we just found him at the bottom of his cage, he used to play with Oreo the cat, nipping him and Oreo would try to paw him but the bars were too small to get his paw through. We're thinking heart attack or a fall broke his neck :(

Not told the kids and as it is so hectic in the mornings they haven't noticed yet, will tell them when they get home from school today.

Feel like c**p with this cold and have a cc to pick up after the school run so got to get myself into gear. Hope you all have a good day x
