Picked up a c&c from a's earlier. The UDI's were out of stock and so was one other item. But I had 8 other different items in my shopping so thought at least I will get an APG. Shopping was £10.56 and had paid with a £10 evoucher so 56p to pay. Just checked A.com and it says Order cancelled
    Unable to take payment
But I have my shopping here with a receipt. Bet I dont get an APG now

:( got them on my cc for tomorrow. Not sure if I should amend now.

Did you egg wash it all over? This can sometimes stop it puffing. Could also have the same effect if you cut it with a blunt knife or crimpled the edges, seals the layers together.

Yes but always do egg wash:cool: will try next tome not doing it though. Thanks
Oh and while i remember have a fan dabby dozy holiday:D:D

TM or anyone else that knows;)
2 weeks ago i made a pie with the glitchy jus roll puff pastry(just a lid) it didnt rise :( i put it down to the pastry being in freezer too long.
Today i did the same but bought fresh chiller pasty, same thing again:( never had this prob before , do you know whats causing it please?

Is this the ready-rolled stuff or did you roll it out yourself? This morning my colleague complained that her chicken pie pastry didn't rise as much as she'd expected and she used the ready-rolled stuff. I just wonder if it's the same stuff.

Don't think mine is even mile square. :rotfl:

Hoping to get one more stopover in before end of season. Not this weekend but next. Fingers crossed for good weather, don't mind the cold but no wind and rain.
