Hopeless! Second M store had several mbuys not put up, so how can I tell the prices? They had the Young's Kippers with an mbuy up though - and not due to expire until later in this month - so that's still on in M even though the first store no longer showed it:(. However, I'm still deleting the Young's Kippers from off the list - they had a downsizing a while ago and they don't work out as good as fresh own brand ones in any event and even they not best price (have been cheaper in their own right in A before).
I'm sure you don't need an essay from me about all the detailed issues, but anyway...
The Old El Pasos are still £1.99 but not going onto the M list anymore, as many of them were £1.61 previously. I think there may be some other brand in Aldi or T or somewhere that are a bit cheaper than that anyway? They may help us on wombles though - I like M not being £3.22:mad::mad::rotfl:.
I'm unable to confirm that a 3 for £1 mbuy is now on the Goldenfry Dumpling Mix. The second store had no mbuys showing on any of the three types of Goldenfry (Dumpling Mix, Yorkshire Pudding and one other - only Dumpling Mix appears to be on msm for A so only that one).
I went onto the third store (or a third store, as my choice of third store can vary depending on which one I decide to go to) - a small Morries, but not an M Local. They didn't stock the Dumpling Mix, only the other two and no mbuy showing anyway so no way to tell. I know the Goldenfry Dumpling Mix is showing 3 for £1.00 for M on msm, however the first store's offer clearly stated specifically Batter Mix (that's what the other one was:idea:) and Yorkshire Pudding Mix. From that, I conclude that the Dumpling Mix is not on the mbuy. So, it may or may not work - have to see if the mbuy appears on them in my second store (probably my first next time, to confuse you) on Wednesday. It's of course possible the description on the offer label is incorrect and that they've mixed it up like they did on the Aunt Bessie's earlier.
As for Aunt Bessie's, I can't find any Aunt Bessie's Chocolate Pudding (was £1 last week) in any of the three stores - was only available in M anyway - so may be OOS now or may be a local stockout. To clarify, the Aunt Bessie's Apple Pie is still on £1. Spotted !!!!!! is NOT - Jam Roly Poly IS. Aunt Bessie's Large Toad in the Hole (300g) is also now £1 in M. Don't know if that would work on the APG vs M. It might. A £2. Was previously Avs T at £1 (T surely no longer £1 and showing N/A for T on msm - or more accurately three dashes nowadays). However, probably safer to go for the Bisto Toad in the Hole (same weight, 300g) - that remains at £1 in M. More clearly Avs T £1 on the Bisto one.
Well I went onto third store anyway - and a mix and match 3 for £1.50 apparently on some produce items that I didn't know anything about! Apparently not - I think they've not removed their promotional awning from the store entrance. I found Parsnips packs (500g) gone down to 49p though:T:T (and not whoopsied stock) so that'll be going onto the list!
Can't find Savers (frozen) Beef Rice & Curry anymore at 50p, so that's probably gone:(. As for the Febreze Clip On Car Vents - I know, completely suddenly taking you to another part of the store - they are "half price", whatever that is, according to the promotional shelving they are on in two of my three stores. No price SEL in either of them though - they could be still £1.98 but I doubt that's too good and probably risky anyway. I wouldn't bother with them!
Also I think the S/P Dusters 71p (5 pack) might go N/A vs M soon (if they have not already done so). It appears M now stock an 8 pack version - at £1.09:eek:. Looks like Oven Bottom Muffins are changing too:( - different pack style and no "Everyday" SELs on the shelf anymore. I suspect they have gone up in price - I'm removing them anyway as not really that good:rotfl:.
No idea about Bird's Eye Arctic Roll (that's probably gone). I'm deleting the Crosse & Blackwell Tomato soup (multipack 4 pack at £1.49) - was available in M and not comparing from elsewhere - SELs sticking around with no stock last couple of weeks, now no stock and no SEL at all, so I think they've gone. Hard to find certainly (until you find them:D:rotfl::rotfl:, somewhere else in the country - I think no).
However, the M Dental Tape - remember that?:) - it was on 28p RTC and then finally seemed to fade away, with SELs in some stores hanging around but no stock and stretching it (not literally!) to say it was still going to work. It is suddenly back in store, and at 28p, so it may be possible T's Floss - which should/may compare 75p vs 50p M (M Dental Floss 50m is continually instore and is 50p) might just go 75p vs 28p again once they have today's prices in the T PP system.
I can't confirm on the Lajkonik Paluszki Sticks anymore, whether they are still on 2 for £1 mbuy. No mbuy in first store anymore, second store never had any:mad::rotfl: and third store doesn't stock them, so no idea! I thought they were on until 20/10 last time? But I wouldn't bet on it.
Unbelievably - perhaps not? - there are yet more items I've found to go onto the M list:). Third store has M "Match & More" coming "soon" - not that I pay much attention to any of this, but first time I've seen the point of sale promoting it. That said, :rotfl: I doubtless have my head in the prices than much anything else!:D ([Strike]I just need the Southern Fried Chicken (Birds Eye 4 pack) to be on half price in T - [/Strike] Sadly not, no good - M £3.25.) Birds Eye 42 Dippers, btw, not up to £4.25 but £3.98 instead in M - oh well, it was bound to be somewhere near. Last chance on APG on that one!! Was £3.00 in M - likely to still be that on APG tonight.
