it was rainy and very windy, now the sun has come out and its lovely, such changeable weather.

I'm hoping most of the rain was dumped on the west and that it will soon fizzle out here so I can go for a walk. Haven't found my waterproof trousers yet :o:( Did find my 50mm prime lens though :j my economical packing meant that it was in its box but placed inside my tripod head box. After many scratches of the head as to where it could be I just happened to pick up that box and thought that was heavier than it should be - bingo!:)

Wonder if the same principle applies to the waterproofs......:rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning everyone :)

Multi not showing on msm over the weekend but still going through in store at 6 for £3 or 10 for £4. Looks like it is still OK so far today.

I think the best returns are buy 10 vs W (approx 20p per yog) or in multis of 6 vs S, (approx 26p per yog). Check msm or previous posts to see which flavours match and avoid trying comp vs M as that hasn't been working.

Thank you very much, I have done 2 shops will post results later x

I keep mine in the kitchen cupboard as I use it so often.

    It keeps very well.

Keep it in a dish though if it is in the middle of summer as it tends to go squishy if it's warm.

I got absolutely soaked in the rain this morning, right down to the undercrackers! :rotfl:

Sun is just struggling to fight through the clouds now. It's feeling really autumny.

Can anyone recommend a good brand for decent waterproof coat? I have a Tresspass jacket that is waterproof but not breathable so I always feel hot when I wear it.

I don't need a warm coat, as I am naturally hot :p just something that is waterproof but breathable? Does such a thing exist? Thanks in advance Eliters x

Really am attempting to start being good again with my eating, I've let things slide way too much the last few weeks. Thankfully the battery is dead in my scales, so I don't actually know what the damage is :rotfl:

Mr T home event so 20% off, I have just got some clear storage baskets, been looking for some for ages for my drawers, in packs of 3 priced up at £2.00 and 3 for 2 less 20% - £2.80 for 9 .

    Well pleased x

Anything Gortex really, but it can be pricey. There was some going really cheap (about a tenner) from screwfix earlier in the year, so glitchy ones do come up now and again.

i think we got most of the rain in wales, all night long very heavy.

so thinking of your economical packing your waterproofs are rolled up inside your wellys:p:D

IMHO the best fabric is Polartec Neoshell, used by the Rab brand
    http://rab.uk.com/reference/technology/waterproof-shell/polartec-neoshell.html
    The next best is Paramo
    http://www.paramo.co.uk/en-gb/index.php
their jackets are breathable but a bit heavy to wear.
