Well they've been in my Amazon basket ever since. I think they're so pretty but I couldn't think what I'd use them for so didn't buy. Well I've finally thought of a use for them :j I'm going to put them at the points where the ribbon crosses in the noticeboard I made yesterday.
I was looking for fancy brads on ebay but couldn't find anything that caught my eye then I remembered the buttons (Thanks OP) :T I'm going to attach the buttons to plain brads. It will be lovely and cost less than the fancy brads on ebay
such a good idea and will look lovely, your board is really good well done :T0 -

Fairclaire your son is very lucky to have you as a mum. Often I read your posts and wish you were my mum ( I mean if I was younger of course as we are similar age ) My mum has been horrible to me about this. She said that she hopes I don't get diagnosed with ASD. This would not change that I have all these ASD traits but they would be unexplained without a diagnosis and that's what she's wishing for me  Also she's said that I mustn't tell anyone because she'll be ashamedI haven't spoken to her for a couple months now because I just feel she doesn't care about me at all
I scored 42 in the quiz. I think it's important that those with ASD stand up and be counted because it's not something to be ashamed of. There are good things about it like it helps me to remember customers orders at work, which makes my job easier but my lack of social skills is crippling for me, so overall I'd prefer not to have this. I worry so much about social events and house guests that it spoils the rest of my life so I'd love to be able to stop being like this.
FC's family are lucky to have her.
My DD is fantastic with her dd who has ASD but I know its not easy
Your mum comes from a generation where things were not really discussed and help was not given. I hope she is not ashamed as you think. I hope she just finds it difficult to acknowledge the differences.
Try to enjoy being you and I know that's easy for me to say but we are all different in so many ways Take care (hugs)0 -

Massive hugs to you Evangeline. I too struggle with social events and I know how this can destroy a life. Keep being strong and look at the positives. Your button board looks fab, wish I was creative like you. Take care and keep posting as everyone here is so supportive xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

It feels like I'm never here these days.I've taken a few extra hours on at work so my day consists of- drop lil stink off at breakie club, go to work, come home, go pick him up again, get in, clean, cook, play (always time for this
) eat, bath and bed for ds. I finally get to sit down about 7.30pm. I'm knackered at the mo. Lol.
I've poked my head round the door a couple of times and I've managed to do a couple of radox shops but that's really about it.
I miss you allx
