Rosynbach, glad all sorted now. The running around to get it all was worth it in the end. :D Hope you rest and feel better soon.

    Bubbs, 4 under 5 is madness. I have 4 under 7 and that's bad enough. :D

Strewth, hope you're able to sort budget out. :) Once you'd corrected it, it wasn't so bad and you've got a good stash started. :D

we have a great tit driving me mad, it keeps pecking on my new windows, first of all i thought it was cute , but after 3 days going all around both of the lounge windows pecking very loudly and chirping all day long.. its getting on my nerves, only started when we put the new windows in, very odd...

New windows have a better reflection by chance? May think it is talking to another bird and a little confused?

An excuse not to wash them anyway :).

Last day for the Argos 3 for 2 sale:eek:

Yes, and most items I wanted are out of stock and I have been busy in work all week so no chance to go :(.

Looking at Amazon some of the prices may work out almost as cheap on there though.

A few months yet for more toy sales to emerge.

Now if only scamps, thick Tom and artha would re-appear....

A host of people have been AWOL unless I have missed them posting? PattyLabelle, FloFlo, Nikkilala ...

I appreciate everyone has their reasons for joining in and backing out (RL gets in the way for all of us at some point) you just notice some familiar names missing now and again.

We will always play with whoever joins the thread and hopefully everyone can play nicely together.

Afternoon all. Back from my hols yesterday. I paid for my car parking upfront, so horrified when the machine wanted £160 to let me out of the car park. Sorted by the 'voice from the machine':rotfl:
Hope you are feeling better fc. Lots of rest is needed as others have said.
Ts glad your garage is finished. I'm just as ocd as you over some things (not discussing my knicker drawer or my hanging on the line tendencies;):rotfl:)
VT, hugs. So nice to have a welcome home text.
Nannylala, get something made out of the wood from the arbour as someone else said. It will always remind you of the love your DH put into it when he built it for you.
    Zippy, enjoy your weekend away.
Still catching up, taking longer than I thought as my pc monitor/tv has just gone bang:eek: Bought it from A 2 years ago. I thought it should last longer than that so phoned A. Got to send a copy of the receipt, and they will 'see what they can do'.
Good job I kept the receipt in the box in the loft.:D
I'm now using a tiddly 19 inch tv bought for the kitchen, that we got free on dtd a loooong time ago,:D
Got to go, DH home, and I've spent an hour fiddling to try to get the xxxxxx thing to work.

A quick question before I go. I'm waiting for an apg on my mum's account. I have claimed it, just waiting for it to appear. Can I do another shop to get another apg before that last lot of vouchers appear in her account? I should know this, but having a blonde, senior moment:o Can anyone advise me please?
    Hugs to all in need.

It doesn't mind exclamation marks, it is whatever you put first it may have issues with :).

I don't know why that particular story is doing the rounds (in Daily Mail yesterday too) - newspapers stirring as usual, pre-packed fruit has always cost more than loose so a bit of a non-story as anyone who shops regularly should be aware of looking at the price per item/weight etc.

The bigger story they should pick up on is how supermarkets switch between price per item/weight/volume on the same type of product so that you cannot easily compare without a calculator.
