Though she should be proud, she is the only one who can say that:D
I thought she took it rather well, she is lovely. She is coming to a restaurant with us next Sunday, even though DS2 is at uni!
I also got a text from DS2, telling me to take shower gel, as her mother has used it!100 -

because she's so incapable of holding down a job, she sees everything I've got and wants it for herself without having to work for it so she just took it. It was just as well I took my valuables away with me
It was a joke (well to me) obviously not funny the splash marks
I remember you posting at the time about it #violatedWhen The Fun Stops Stop0 -

It looks like Coconut are not avail. in A so, if you want to BM Sains to nice 'low' probably loss-making T price before Sains start benchmarking and increasing their prices, on other products, to match A round pounds rather than necessarily having 80p half prices of their own...
Remember you don't need to spend £20!
Above, I'm thinking of margarines/spreads that go down sometimes to 80p in S, but A often goes down to £1 and no lower. I'm thinking of information across three separate press articles, about people are surprised we are cheaper than A, from which I've concluded if people's expectation is confounded, maybe answer is to change to meet the expectation - therefore to equalise prices to A, as the benchmark, rather than remain cheaper. One article said Sains. had cut prices on all items. Another

said "Sainsbury’s has said it will lower the base price on 1,200 grocery products, such as reducing the price of six Müller fruit corner yogurts from £3.89 to £3.
It will also focus on matching the price of branded goods in Asda, including promotions, which pledges to be 10pc cheaper than its rival."
First point - not £1.94 then?:p That is my price guide on the Muller 6 pack. Anyone who thinks £3:eek: is a good offer... in fact, even £1.94 represents the equivalent of £1.29 for if it were a 4 pack and our guide on those is £1. Even that is quite dear. If you are getting any yogurts at all, get A/P yogurts at 33p for 4 pack (preferably on a Morries comp):rotfl:.
Second point - focusing on matching the prices of branded goods in A? As I see it means if something was on offer in S at half price below £1, matching A's price will, cynically, mean S increasing the price. Remember Sains do have form in this area from several years ago: http://whatconsumer.co.uk/forum/consumer-rights-television-programmes/10468-bbc-watchdog-sainsburys-price-right-wrong.html
People assume a "match" is good. They see it as a reduced price. They don't think that, in fact, it may mean increasing a price to match elsewhere.
And 1,200 products is a fraction of a store's total inventory, which is usually in excess of 30,000 items.0 -
