On the way home the bus had to take a different route because where the bus normally goes, a young girl had been hit by a speeding taxi. She was on a zebra crossing :(

I hope she is ok QOC? It's horrible when you witness something like that. I saw an elderly lady hit on a zebra crossing a few years ago. I rushed to help of course, and the ambulance came quick, but it was awful watching it happen in slow motion! :(

Well done on your weight loss tweets!! Must feel great to drop into that lower stone zone? :j

Hope you feel better tomorrow FC? I feel like I am on the edge of a cold but am fighting it for dear life and dosing up on the multivits! ;)

I noticed there were quite a few gluten free/ dairy free/ veggie/ vegan snacks on half price offers at Mr T's today. I've listed some below, might not seem cheap but gluten free stuff is usually silly expensive.

The Nairns Gluten Free Biscuits should work on a A v T shop? It is a half price offer @ T's till 5th Oct?

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=nairns&Store=ASDA

Nakd Delight Bits 130G all flavours
Half Price Was £2.00 Now £1.00

Natures Store Chocolate & Orange Rice Cake 100G
Half Price Was £1.40 Now 70p
    Offer valid until 5/10/2014

    Wholebake 9 Bar 160G
Half Price Was £1.90 Now 95p
    Offer valid until 5/10/2014

    Nairns Gluten Free Biscuits 160G
Half Price Was £1.60 Now 80p

Also Udi's breakfast bars, various flavours reduced to clear 75p @ Tesco ( I guess these wont compare as they are RTC).

(Most of the above are multi packs by the way, not individual bars).

    Edited to add:

    Also 4 pack Alpro soya deserts are £1.50 at A v 70p @ T's Bargain!
(Alpro Soya Low Fat Dairy Free Dessert - Soft Creamy Caramel (4x125g)

Oh, remember when these were free. *sigh*

Yes they were. List being cut down even more therefore perhaps:rotfl:.

I think do I remember when they were 160-odd grams instead of what they are now? Or that other brands may be cheaper (not told in T and S)? Or do I remember when T was £1 half price as opposed to now £1.10?!?
Of course if anyone happens to have any Rustler's coupon, perhaps for a free product, or almost, then it may make more sense to buy one in T, if it's a CC coupon for example.

Not necessarily - are they on t.com? (I suspect not and therefore they won't compare.) RTCs do compare on Avs M, if they are not store specific. However, I acknowledge that that is the manual collection and is done differently from the vs T, vs S and vs W comps.

On Avs T, there are now 'lots' of good offers on in my view, many on "Savvy buys" for T on msm, also a few in T's "Under £1" (on msm).

They show as £3 on T.com & MSM:

The Fairy Washing-Up Liquid Apple Orchard, that says 1.2L on msm.co.uk, turns out to be 1.19L:(. So yet another appearing to be downsizing, I know it's "only" 10ml but, really, that is quite mean of them:( - multiple that 10ml by all the bottles produced and it does add up to quite a saving for them.

Still, not too bad - I know we have had better prices before, after APG glitches, but still may be a good price per unit (I shall have to recalculate now due to that 10ml:rotfl:), perhaps one to "do" a womble on, in effect to work out at free or almost free, depending on the amount of your womble.

:rotfl:The customer behind me had a tiny Fairy liquid bottle - bet they paid far more for that lesser amount. 1.19L for £1.75 or 383ml for £1.00, you decide! Personally I think 1.19L (would have preferred 1.2L) is better. Some people:wall: prefer to get 383ml and then 383ml later - total of merely 766ml for 25p more:eek: (assuming the 383ml is still on £1 later and hasn't either increased in individual price or requiring extra purchase to get mbuy of 2 for £2). Or in fact paying £2 more, for under two-thirds of the amount, as they paid with real cash and failed to buy it with a womble.

So, they'll undoubtedly compare to £3 instead of 75p:(.

EDIT: And, if you get them in T at 75p, will likely compare 75p to much much higher A price and lose PP if you were to try on Tvs A (you wouldn't!).

EDIT 2: In fact might not even count at all on APG and would therefore (if you could find them in A) cost £3 rather than £2.70 net. as showing OOS for A logged in and out on msm?
