    The last ever Svs T

Rather underwhelming, not much on here - it seems I'm becoming too savvy:( and avoiding expensive half prices on branded items, that said some here, such as the kids sweets:eek:, perhaps I stop buying completely and save money that way!:rotfl: Savvy non-buyer:D.

On the other way around, Tvs S, I notice the Trident Gum Tropical Twist (14) is now apparently T 50p vs S 45p.

    KP Hula Hoops - Original (12x25g)£2.75 £1.43
    KP Hula Hoops - Variety (12x25g)£2.75 £1.43
KP Hula Hoops - Meaty Variety (12x25g)£2.75 £1.43
I notice own brand 6 pack crisps are now T 2 for £1.50 so they are going onto Avs T
Swizzels Matlow Children's Bumper Bag (210g)£1.80 £1.00 (were 230g:( some while ago)
Swizzels Matlow Lots of Lollies (210g)£1.80 £1.00
Swizzels Matlow Chew Crew (210g)£1.80 £1.00
KP Skips - Tingly Prawn Cocktail (12x14.4g)£2.75 £1.49
    2xBic Twin Lady Pouch (8)£2.50x2 Any 2 for £3.00
Gillette Simply Venus 2 Disposable Razors (8)£4.00 £1.84
    Sainsbury's Basics Vegetable Stir Fry (700g)£1.00 N/A
    Young's Fisherman's Pie (340g)£1.30 75p
Birds Eye Light & Crunchy Breaded Chicken (4 per pack - 360g)£2.75 £1.62
Birds Eye Sticky & Sweet BBQ Chicken Chargrills (4 per pack - 340g)£2.75 £1.62
But S Basics £1.20 (and that itself is a price increase, was £1.15 some time ago)
Rustlers Hot Subs Southern Fried Chicken (158g)£2.00 £1.10
    2xSainsbury's Chicken Bites (5 per pack - 300g)Any 2 for £1.00 N/A
    Rustlers BBQ Rib (157g)£1.70 £1.00
    Sainsbury's Black Ring Binder74p N/A
    Sainsbury's Glue Stick (2x36g)89p N/A
    Sainsbury's Basics Loose Apples £1.00/kg N/A
    Haribo Strawbs Single10p N/A:rotfl:
Any own brand whoopsied item in S that represents good value at the price you pay for it.
Duracell 4 Hour Battery Charger with AA Rechargable Batteries (2)£2.99 N/A This is £15 in T:eek:, but N/A if this falls within the exclusion for
"all electrical items including electrical health and beauty e.g. hair straighteners, electric toothbrushes, hair dryers".
    http://www.sainsburys-live-well-for-less.co.uk/brand-match/terms-and-conditions/
However, does this even qualify as an item for the BM at all? The whole point of including it here is for a list that supposedly counts towards the 10 items needed to qualify for BM. T&C 23 says "There are products that we cannot incorporate into the scheme. Products in the following categories are not included in Sainsbury's Brand Match:" and then includes the "all electrical items...". Does this mean, that if the product in one of those categories is not included in BM and not incorporated into the scheme, that it therefore does not count as an item towards the 10 needed? If it's "not incorporated" in the scheme, and "not included" in it, then it doesn't count as an item towards that scheme? How can it - it's "not incorporated" and "not included" in it? This appears to me, but I could be wrong, to conflict with "To benefit from Sainsbury's Brand Match, all you need to do is buy any [my emphasis] 10 or more different items in a single transaction in store, and purchase at least one Comparable branded product (see Paragraph 3)." So, any 10 or more different items count, does "any" - taken literally any - include items that are not included in the scheme? I am probably reading it very technically, although, under contract terms rules, as far as I see it, the consumer is entitled to the most favourable position if there is any ambiguity - however that theoretical position is little use at all if you buy the (supposed) 10 items only for it then to count as 9 and not give a BM voucher. Does anyone else, who has had more recent experience of BM, know the position here, i.e. with whether items in 'excluded categories' count as one of the 10 items? TIA. (Lol:rotfl: I may go to page 1 and might find the answer in a moment.)
If the battery charger is not counted as an item towards BM, then why buy it (and spend an extra £2.99) on a BM shop at all? It is only spending more money, and you don't have any qualifying amount for BM to reach, so why buy that non-qualifying item only to have to buy 10 other, qualifying, items in addition anyway?

EDIT: Looked at post 1 of this thread. Still doesn't clarify for me, being the pedantic, technical and literally-minded person that I am! As usual, I probably have the 'very good question' that no-one anywhere has an answer to:p. "Why do we do things that way?" I may ask people, about our society. "Well, don't know really" is the reply I, hypothetically, get:(:rotfl:. No good I'm afraid, no good:p:p.
