Sorry, have never heard of them. There are a number of paid for cashback sites and other offer sites that offer a free trial with a sign up reward to suck you in, but then have unfair terms and conditions that trap you into paying.

I fell for one a while ago (yes me, not normally Mr Gullible!) as you had to wait beyond a certain date to cancel before getting your "reward" and it wasn't immediately obvious how to cancel - yep, memberhip auto renewed :o.

Triple check everything if you are even considering it - you could post the link to the deal here if it is online and we can all take a look to work out if it is safe or a scam (or at least try to!) - if it is safe, I am sure others will be on it too .

Thanks Anon - I got the link from Amazon after I had paid for an item I got a page with a link to claim my £15 GC if I trialled My Time Rewards - it says no charge if I cancel within the 30 days but I did have to give my card details....a bit worried now :( I got the GC code immediately after signing up and it is showing in my Amazon Account but I have read a couple of complaints from people after a quick google saying that they had £10 a month taken from their account without their approval - but they did say that when they rang to cancel it stopped. I intend to cancel in a few days time, the website looks legit, I cant find the link to the £15 GC reward but the link to the site is here https://www.mytimerewards.co.uk

Hopefully I have not been scammed :(

Ive had 2 NSDs in a row but I wish I'd followed you around now :j

In sainsburys ere the reduced thing on their own shelves or lumped together on the dented tins section?

Sainsbobs have changed their SELS now you all orange so you have to peer and walk slowly along every section to find the real clearance items

    Hi all.

Hope you have all had a good day.

I went shopping today and saw shed loads of bargains, items on reduced to clear and such like.

SAINSBURYS - shed loads of reduced to clear items in the beauty/pharmacy section. Items included stop smoking products, flu products, pain relief, smelly feet products, hair colour, face creams, birth control items and Slim Fast products. Best item had to be some kind of posh hair colour kit down from about £8 to £1, and Scholl foot spray from £3 to 50p (some moose cleared the lot out!).

ASDA (big store) - huge reductions in the freezer section. Look for the red shelf edge labels saying SALE or RTC. Items included Birds Eye fish/chicken products, posh ice creams, Asda own brand ice creams, and various animal products (I'm vegetarian, so didn't pay much attention but there was one young lady who was filling her trolley with what looked like frozen minced cow/lamb/pig). Best item had to be Birds Eye fish fillets in breadcrumbs down from £2.25 to 75p. There were also items in the beauty section on clearance.

ASDA (ex Netto) - almost the whole pharmacy/beauty section was on clearance. Items included stop smoking products which were 75% off, weight loss products, Slim Fast items and birth control / ovulation kits / pregnancy tests.

BOOTS are currently having a mammoth clear out of vitamins and minerals, and baby products. The sell by dates are up until 2015 and the vitamins and minerals are also on 3 4 2, so you could end up with some right bargains. Stocked up vitamin c and effervescent tablets.

Finally, went into B AND M and got some Mugshot soup sachets for 10p. It was a pack of 3. Probably taste like carp but a bargain all the same.

    I think I need a rest now.

i rang this morning they said most bigger stores have them but i would give a ring first if you have to travel to the store.. they are good for the price, not the heaviest duty ones but good for in the garden.

Mmm, ground rice pudding and jam :D

What is the difference between sweet and savoury pastry cases though? I've never added sugar to my pastry, should I have? :o

my ds2 favourite pudding :D:D but it has to be a jam that melts easy with not to many lumps:p

some recipes do have sugar in for sweet pastry but I am not sure everyone uses it I think we have all been using just rol pastry recently:D

She was quite the first few days but she is now settling down and she is quite affectionate so I am very pleased. I have arranged with the vet for her to be neutered and to have her vaccinations etc and I am very pleased she is using her litter tray! Her name was tinsel I asked the Vet if I could change her name because she is now 10 months old he laughed and said yes it the tone of voice they respond to, so now her name is Roxy

we have fields at the back of us, all off the road so no traffic to worry about so now that the grass has been cut we take our Sophie (tortoishell) for walkies alongside the field edges - w did a circuit of 2 fields yesterday and she was so knackered last night she climbed on my lap at 9 and would not budge until bedtime and she was still asleep on her blanket at 9 this morning :D.

Can I just say Karlie you're an absolute boss for posting that.

I agree 100% and I'd gladly pay more tax to see this wonderful service treated with the respect and care it deserves.

Cheers for telling me about the option to cancel my YouBeauty box with just one payment rather than two. £6.95 saved! :)
