electoral and banking addresses

I have a slight conundrum over what to do with my registered bank address.
I have never changed it from my parents house because I go back frequently, can still be traced there and I have been in house shares etc.
Since April I have rented a flat with my boyfriend and while I have updated my electoral address, I have left my bank address as my parents house.
Previous checks have indicated that I have a very good credit score - when all matched up - but I'm wondering that if the two addresses (electoral and bank) don't match up, would this be a problem?
I'm aiming to try to get a mortgage within the next 8 months so want to be good to go and not have changed my address too recently ... equally I don't want to write myself off if I can't be detected!
All help and information is very much appreciated.
Thank you!

On your mortgage application you'll need to declare where you actually resided over a period of time. Are you going to detail the house shares?0

I guess I'll have to otherwise they will be confused. My job would be an almighty commute otherwise.
For 3 years there will be 3 house shares (10 months, 9 months and 2 months) and the flat I currently rent.
Have I unwittingly destroyed my changes of getting a mortgage? :-(0 -
Have you obtained all three statutory copies of your credit files?
These will show all the linked addresses you have. Ensure the information you give on the mortgage application matches up.
I would update the bank account to your current address to help though.0 -
Thank you for your help.
I only have one address currently linked to me - my parents address. I guess I'll now have my electoral address too. I've been pretty good at keeping everything in one place as I never trusted my previous landlords with my personal mail (I was a lodger in the 3 places).
I'm just wondering that if they detect me on credit files, it now won't recognise that I'm on the electoral roll?
I'm sure this is more complicated to me, than it is to anybody else. I'm easily overwhelmed when it comes to scuppering my chances of a mortgage because I'm now so close to breaking free from renting!0
