Free Double Glazing ?

Yeah I know the old adage "if its too good to be true"

The wife has been getting calls from a double glazing company who keeps telling her that they will do our windows for free. Well to quote her "We cant actually say its free .... but is certainly NO COST to you".

She said that they have a grant they need to spend for our area for 12 houses. Also we must agree to let them take photos for their magazine.

The missus has told her to phone back and speak to myself so thought best to run it past you guys before I even start speaking to them.

They will probably give you free double glazing. But then they will charge you £3000 to fit them, £1000 admin charge etc etc.

Its a marketing ruse and you know it.

Yeah I strongly suspect as much but they were quite specific that there is "No cost to you"

ok I spoke to them on the phone tonight ..... tbh I should have just told them to jog on ..... but was intrigued.

I will let them give me a quote and then kick them out the door. Anything I should be aware of to be included or not?

Strangely...... not long after their call ... we get a call from ..... you guessed it .... somebody offering something about replacement bathrooms .... sorry but wife to the call

Pretty sure this is going to be some bollox with a hard sell .... so will get the boxing gloves out
