Don't accept it, the returns page says the logistic guys check the return, they will only be checking the condiction, not function so of course like you say it would be in perfect condition...

To be fair, I did have a email a few days after they got the machine back saying that the steam temp. was correct. The retailer said it was working perfectly, although I haven't seen any documentation yet.

The problem I experienced was steam being too hot, with no adjustment, heating the milk so quickly that it shot out of the jug after 30 secs, no matter what adjustment I made with cold/fresh milk or jugs etc. I have owned Gaggia coffee machines for years, so I'm quite familiar with frothing milk.

Having read comments from other buyers who had problems with coffeeitalia goods, I don't have any faith in the company anymore. They do not follow good selling practices.

I'm hoping to still get a refund........
