    Just a suggestion for those with loose lids:eek:;)
    I haven't tried it, but wouldn't a sheet of foil between the lid and the pot help to seal it as a temporary measure? You could fold it up over the edge of the lid to fill the gap. (Making sure that condensation runs into the pot, not down the outside!:eek:)

    I have had my sc for ten years I broke the lid after first year and just popped on an ordinary pot lid that fitted I have never had any problem with this and use it at least 3 times a week its a swan one and I love it

    To help with a loose fitting lid; I put a tea towel on top. HTH
