Anyone know if the branches that have open foyers (where the foyer with ATM and deposit machines remain open after banking hours) are open on Sundays?
I checked their website but doesn't mention anything. The foyer usually remains open a few hours after the bank has closed on weeknights/saturday afternoons.
Got some cheques to deposit.

You can deposit cash and cheques using the external ATMs.
The ATM will dispense an eveolope for you put the cash / cheques in.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

With my local branch, my debit card is used as a swipe / entry card to gain access out of hours.0 -
Thanks, but the internal deposit machine does live deposits, not just envelope where staff have to manually do at a later date.0

You won't find one of them in a foyer.
Those types of machines are only availble in the actual branch.
When I say external ATM you deposit the money into the actual ATM its self.
Plus as your paying in a cheque it won't matter if you pay it on via an external ATM or not as it's not a bank working day. It will still start the 2-4-6 process from Monday.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Can't remember if the deposit machine is before or after the security shutter but it is in the foyer area next to the cash machines anyway.
I'll just wait till Monday to deposit them then. Not too sure about these dispensing envelopes.0 -
My local branch has a foyer with a swipe card thing on the door but I can never recall having to use it as always seem open ( inc Sundays)
There is a ATM that takes deposits ( immediately shows up on statement but subject to cashier check) . - but it is not one of those newer types that reads the cheques ( receipt includes photo of the cheque)Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
