PPI on mortgage going back more than 20 years

We had PPI when we first took out our mortgage in 1991 with the Halifax. Is there any point in trying to claim now?

A "claim" is what you make on your insurance e.g. if you lose your job.
You are making a complaint about a miss-sale (big difference, not being pedantic!)

What are your reasons for complaint (talking verifiable things not hearsay complaints 23 years after the event - he said / she said stuff) - why do you feel that an insurance protecting your home was not needed or wouldn't have been any use?
What evidence do you have to support your complaint?

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Assuming you mean complain, then you can complain about it. However, you dont actually say what your complaint reasons would be. So, its impossible for us to say if there is any point.
