Beware floors to go

In August 2014 we ordered nearly £3000 flooring with an agreed delivery date early Sep. F2G then delayed the floor by a week, and then said there would be a further 4 week delay ("wood still in China"). This was not acceptable and we tried to change the order but were expected to pay nearly £500 more for less wood. We then decided to ask for refund and shop elsewhere as we needed a quick delivery. We've since been unable to get a refund and the head office number is now unobtainable. We have since read reviews online which tell a very similar tale. We will pursue for breach of contract but would like to warn future customers not to trust this company. I wish I had read reviews before trusting this nationwide company.

Assuming you paid by either debit or credit card, it might also be worth reading MSE's Chargeback article.0 -
Floors to go are now owned by a company called ANBO International. As a new user I cannot post links but the company website is Anbointernational (one word) dot com.
They are just as helpful as Floors2go when sorting out product or a refund, however if you remain steadfast and persistent (and threaten to escalate to legal action) eventually you will either get the product or a refund - if you are not, then they will try and steer you back to your credit card company (that way anbo don't have to fork out).
The address and contact details are on the website. A quick search on a company info site will show you who the Directors of the company are - I would address any verbal or written correspondence directly to them or the office manager as the staff in the office wont be in a position to help other than 'take a message'
Be persistent, and fingers crossed justice will prevail for you.

Thank you both for the very helpful responses. I have read the suggested articles and will now check the website. Your advice is very much appreciated.0
