Idiot's guide to MP3s on iPod?

I've downloaded some free spoken word MP3s onto my hard drive but can't work out how to transfer them into my iTunes Library. Help please! I'm a total novice at this - I presume I have to convert them somehow to the AAC format maybe?

If you open iTunes, and go to the File menu, you can choose "Add File/Folder to Library" and pick the folder with the tracks, or choose individual tracks to add. As far as I know, itunes will do any conversion necessary to put it on your ipod automatically.0

Open I tunes and the folder containing the tracks you wish to import into the itunes library.
In the left hand itunes pane you will see LIBRARY at the top. Drag and drop the files you wish to play onto "LIBRARY" and they will be imported into itunes.No Links in Signatures by Site Rules - MSE Forum Team 20
