Note in the personal finance world, "advice" is something you pay for, and that you can hold an advisor responsible for. What you get on an internet forum isn't advice. You get opinions and suggestions from people who may or may not know their stuff. You, and only you, are responsible for what you do with the information you read on here.I merely mis read the advice I received
that is a reasonable assumption as complying with the T&Cs entitles you to receive the benefits described in the T&Cs.With regards to monthly charges I believe these should be waived so long as I meet the account conditions.
You are over-thinking it again. If you have more than £5,000 in the account (which you are entitled to have), you still get paid interest on up to £5,000 but not on anything above £5,000. Whether you remove the £1,500, or any money, is neither here nor there as the pre-reqs for interest payment do not include anything about withdrawing money, do they.I have deposited £4100 into this account now in order to qualify for the interest I must deposit £1500 per month as well as have 2 direct debits leaving this account.
However Llyods also mention they will not pay the interest on funds over £5k , so I take it as I am going to deposit £1500 a month and then remove it I would be eligble for the interest?
you are in good company, nobody was.im sorry I wasnt born with finanical intelligence0 -
