Budget Shopping List

No chance of a meal plan for this particular budget shopping list then?
The thing is though, this is someone else's budget list, not yours. Your family sound like they don't actually like what's on that list so you are on a hiding to nowhere
You need to take stock of what you as a family like to eat on a regular basis and then work your budget from there
I feed a family of 3 adults for no more then £150 a month
Once a month I spend £30 at the butchers and around £20 at the chicken factory. That's the base of my meal plans for the month. Whatever I have bought will determine what else I need to buy to stretch that meat out to last the month I will also look at the ys aisle whenever I'm out at the shops and pick up whatever is good value for money
If I had that list and had to eat from it week in and week out I would die of boredom. The only things I buy week in and week out are milk and butter, everything else is variable
So if you come back to us with a list of meals you all enjoy,I'm sure we will all be able to help you cut your budget and still keep your family happy0 -
Also find when your local supermarket has its clearance times and shop around that if necessary. You can get deals up to 90% off depending when and where you shop so can use this as a way of cutting food costs. It is very hit and miss as to what is available but you could get items that you could freeze for another day. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

Why don't you just make a list of all of the meals that your family likes and then list the ingredients you need. Alternatively search budget recipes from the forums here and make a list of the ingredients?
I have an online recipe book into which I put all my favourite recipes and then search those for inspiration. Feeding a family on a budget takes a bit of time and practise. If you really don't feel able to start from scratch with menu planing by all means use a ready made shopping list but make sure it contains recipes that your family will use. Good luck with your menu plans.Stashbusting 2019 - 230/3000
