Healthy Pet Club Scheme - Query

My vets have a healthy pet club, which offers two annual checkups, flea and worm treatments, vaccination and 10% on consultation and treatments.
However, the over 60s' (owner ; not pet) discount of 20%, which I use, specifically excludes repeat prescriptions (including a printed script for use online), so I wouldn't assume that either scheme would cover insulin, which is a repeat item.0 -

I might ask the vet to change it because we feel he is becoming more resistent to it.!
7 units is a massive dose and almost certainly causing rebound into ever higher numbers.0 -
Good news!!
I foned the healthy pet club this morning and explained my circumstances and why I cancelled.
They were very help and agreed to help.
I paid August and September premium paying £19.
They then reinstated the direct debit so that October's payment can be taken
They said they would contact the vet clinic to inform them and so therefore no need to pay the £167!!
They agreed to cancel the years membership on the anniversary which is 27 October.
Happy days!!0 -
So it was what we suspected and paying up to the end of the year saves you having to pay the 167 which was difference in prices/discount you have received.
Lucky you could turn it round.0 -

It was such a relief to get it sorted out, I was worried all over weekend.
I am waiting on a fone call from the practice manager to tell them what I think of the vet clinic and the fact I was refused insulin for my cat compromising his health and why I removed him from their surgery!!0 -
