EPC improvements from storage heates to gas?
Options
Hi
My house has electric storage heaters. The EPC assessment is very low at F 34. I've had mains gas connected so I'm in a position to remove the storage heaters and immersion and replace with a new condensing combi boiler.
My current ratings are:
Main heating: electric storage heaters 3/5
Main heating controls: manual charge control 2/5
Hot water: 2/5
Is there anyway to assess the impact of converting to an A rated condensing boiler with TRVs and a room stat? I'd expect this to raise the EPC to a high E, or low D but is there anyway to calculate this?
TIA

The EPC Advisor website will calculate what your rating will be after upgrading. All you do is enter your current EPC ref and and select your options.

My EPC was an E-44 but after the upgrades I've made I am now a C-69 according to this site if I was to have an EPC done again.0 -

Many Thanks for that link, my googling failed to find that, but it's a great tool.
According to the site, if I change nothing else and get rid of the storage heaters and go for gas, it puts me up to a D56.0
