Back garden dividing fence between our house and the neighbours (not attached neighbours) is pretty old and falling down in places, could it be pulled down and replaced with a high (as agreed between us) brick built wall? If so what are rules regarding height etc
Thanks
Thanks

I think it is 2m. high, at the back of a property, but only one at the front.
Check with your council.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Many thanks, and any idea on how deep a foundation a 6ft brick wall would need?0

If you want the brick wall and your neighbours do not then you pay for it, in that case it's best to ensure that it is entirely on your own property.
You can build it upto 2m high and 1m when adjacent to a highway without planning permission.
As a house extension can be built on 150mm of foundation, I recon the same applies to a brick wall.0
