Was considering buying a lip plumper. Don't want a one that has any colour.
Just wondering are they actually any good?

I've used two faced lip injection, its clear and does plump up for a while but makes the lips red and irritated looking, I wasn't keen, dermal rollering is amazing at plumping lips, its cheap too but painful especially at first, I do this regularly. I would love a topical product that actually works on a day to day basis too.0

Is there a special dermal rollar for lips?
I don't like wearing lipstick or lip gloss.0 -

I had no idea what a dermal roller was, so I googled it -- that looks flippin' terrifying :eek:0 -

Haha its not once you get used to it and the results are very much worth the initial discomfort/pain, having my eyebrows threaded hurts more
in fact the threading hurts more than Botox  0 -
Do you think you get better results using the dermal roller as opposed to face peel, or do you think it depends on skin type and what results your after?0

my top lip now very thin I noticed it when I had make up done for daughters wedding - am 68. Has anyone had filler and how long did it last? Presume it gets rid of little lines in lips too? Luckily I don't have the lines around the lips that lipstick can bleed into so that is one blessing!0

They do different things, I had peels to remove age spots, pigmentation that sort of thing the results were amazing, the tca I had did help my nose to mouth lines but its like when you have a cut and the skin heals freshly underneath, its surface improvement but with the roller you encourage the collagen underneath to heal from inside, the difference is very noticeable in a good way but it is ongoing, I like the rollering for all over texture and plumping but for specific deeper issues I like filler.0 -

I've had filler but not in my lip, I had it in my nose to mouth lines and my 11 between brows lines, I only had it once and then a top up about a year later and then my skin healed around the filler and I never needed it again. I do have botox just above my upper lip every few months, it gives a very subtle upturn but I don't have a thin upper lip anyway thanks to my rollering
