I would do that but the company pays for the flights, and there's a list of preapproved hotels. I'm going to ask for BA flights so I can get avios points and climb my way through their tiers of the executive club so I still get to benefit from that

Apparently they do do a company card but it's my liability so pretty much the same deal, I spend it and then claim it back. For that, I might aswell find one with some other perks



I have been in to metrobank today and got my debit card so I'm sorted for personal spending. Apparently I can use that anyway to pay for my hotel so I'm not desperate for a credit card right now, but I'll keep looking around for one that gives me some benefits from spending upwards of 500 euros and whatever else I might need to buy
