Parking Eye Aldi Swindon

I dropped my son off at the Aldi car park in Swindon at 7.15pm as there is a football stadium nearby. I was only 5 mins and didnt get out the car or park. I returned at 10.30pm to pick him up and again was only there 5mins. I received a Parking Charge Notice in the post stating that I was parked over 3 1/2 hrs. I sent a letter explaining the above but they have rejected it and said that I need to supply evidence. Parking Eye would have 4 pictures of my car twice entering and twice leaving. I don't know what evidence I can supply as I went straight home. Please help they are asking for me to pay £70 but I didnt park the car.

    all irrelevant

just follow the NEWBIES sticky thread and appeal, if you have your popla code, check it using post #3 and then draft your popla appeal in notepad from the linked examples

    Read the Newbies Thread here:

Parking Lie try this - double-dipping as it's called - often.

Make only written contact. Don't phone. Mitigating circumstances are of no interest to them or to POPLA. You should have had a POPLA code with PLiar's rejection letter. Check its validity here:
    http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/popla-code-checker.html

Read more on the newbies thread, esp. #3 and post up your draft appeal for a critique before sending it. Obtain free proof of posting from PO.

As Redx will tell you, any stopping, for however long[or short:-)]IS parking, but that's immaterial here. Just follow the steps set out and you will prevail.

p.s. apologies for stamping on your toes Redx, but also a bonus point to o.p. for NOT calling this fake invoice a 'f - - -'. Good start Carro.

Just to clarify the situation in case you are confused:
You have sent an appeal, presumably as keepers since you said "I"
They have said you need to send further evidence. Have they actually rejected the appeal? I realise you said they did, but they are also asking for evidence.

If you have POPLA code, go to post 3 of newbie thread as directed and appeal as per the advice.

If you do not have a POPLA code, please email PE and say you have nothing further to add to your appeal and they must send you means to appeal to POPLA.

Then when the code arrives, you go to post 3...

  • They sent me a letter asking for further evidence, I will email them now to appeal to POPLA. thanks for all your advise.

tell them to check their anpr cameras for a double dip and that if they then dont cancel you are happy to accept a popla code so popla can cancel on their behalf

you can also mention that this falls well within any "grace periods" , and driving round is not "parking" , only being stopped is

It would be good to challenge ppc failure to show 4 photos arising from double-dipping events as sufficient ground to uphold any Appeal.

    Independent scrutiny, of course:-)

When you get a POPLA code, don't appeal on the same basis you did before, unless you want to lose. Read the NEWBIES thread; we win every time at POPLA. One of the PE template POPLA appeals even talks about the evidence 'not discounting a double visit' so you could easily adapt it if you've gone and given away who was driving...
