DLA Without Carer

Hello all

Long time lurker and big fan of MSE :beer:

Finally needed some help from people who know what they are talking about.

I am currently receiving middle rate DLA and have a carer so my question is if I stop getting care from a carer and become independent would I receive any extras payments?

    Not as far as I know.
    If you are getting better and more independent then you might have to stop getting DLA at some point. I believe they reassess it every few years and you have to inform them of any changes.
