Is there such a thing as a minimum baggage requirement?

I was looking at some last minute deals, in my local travel agent's window.

It's got all the usual stuff, such as prices are based on 2 people sharing a room, transfers included, etc.

However, it also says "Minimum 15kg of baggage".

Minimum :huh:

Or the sign could be accurate and it means that the price includes 15kg luggage but there is an option to pay for more.

I know Olympic Holidays generally include 15kg luggage in their prices but you can buy 5kg more for £xx.

The only way to find out is to ask.

Now we live in the days 'hand luggage only flight', the TA just seems to be promoting the fact that a minimum of 15KG of luggage (presumably per person) is included in the price displayed.
