Hi, I recently purchased a new laptop (Samsung R20), and whenever I take out the power cable, the screens brightness decreases and I have no idea how to brighten the screen, any ideas?

(I dont know why, but I can't do it using the fn + right arrow key)

This is normal behaviour for laptops. It is done to make the battery last longer between re-charges.

As it's a recent new purchase, why don't you read the manual?

Don't worry, I managed to sort it out.

Oh, and the manual wasn't very useful, just told me startup info which was pretty much everything i already knew.
