Return but no refund...

Hi all,

My first time posting here and I was wondering if I could get some advice. I bought an item from cheapdisabilityaids.co.uk (CDA), but when I received it, it was flimsy and looked nothing like it did in the item description. I decided to refund it and was given instructions on how to send it back. I used this service and sent it back via collectplus.

Now, collectplus tracking shows me that it has been delivered but CDA say they have not received it and have asked me to contact collectplus for a signature. I contacted collectplus and they confirmed it had been delivered and had been received by someone under the name of 'xx' and that they also received another package that day. My guess is that CDA will continue to say that they have not received it and refuse to refund me.

What can I do in this situation?:(

How did you pay?

How much was the item?

Search MSE for their articles on Chargeback (if paid by Debit Card) and Section 75 (if paid by Credit Card and the item was at least £100).

I paid around £20 so it's not massive but it's still money.

I used a debit card via their nochex system

Then read MSE's Chargeback article... although Nochex being in the chain may be a problem.
