Cost to replace shower- £760 excessive?

Hi
My parents want their shower sorting out as it is leaking like a sieve and many of the tiles have blown!
They've decided to go for waterproof shower wall panels/boards instead of tiles and will be replacing the tray, shower door and shower.
A plumber I have used before and who does a great job has quoted £760 in labour- this is with us stripping the old tiles and removing the tray and shower door. So he'd be fitting the new tray, shower, wall panels (inc around the window) and the shower door.
He reckons two days tops so surely £760 for labour only is excessive? He did my whole bathroom inc tiling and replacing the floor for £1250 a couple of years back. I havent mentioned the price seeming expensive yet as wanted to see what other people thought?

I'd expect to pay between £160 and £200 per day, so if it's two days labour only then it is excessive.0

Hmmm, so you do half the job for him and he still charges double.....wouldn't happen in my houseBlackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

Labour costs will depend on your location - you wouldn't get one for £200/day where I live. Why not get another quote to check against?0

Has he done the panel systems before?
The better ones don't use metal connecting joints for the corners.0
