Hi guys what best number for atol as I would like them to advise

ATOL means nothing, it just protects you if the company you booked from goes out of business and even then it only covers if you bought a package holiday. Sounds like the agent made the reservation but forgot to pay for the ticket in time but are you really willing to go to the trouble of going to court over £200? My advice would be to pay it and split the cost between you. And next time, book your flights direct from the airline. If you had done so from the beginning none of this would have happened.0

Can't see the original question but it sounds as though they missed a ticketing deadline, tickets are only paid for after the tickets have been issued. ATOL can protect seat only sales and clearly should have done here as the ticket was not issued immediately. If you have an ATOL Certificate you can make a complaint to the CAA who run the ATOL scheme. CAA helpdesk is 020 7453 6888
If the company is a member of ABTA then you can complain to the pre departure department on 0203 117 05990
