I ran out of breath before the end - could you please rewrite it in paragraphs using some punctuation so that it becomes understandable, thanks.

    Hi guys

I am wondering if you can help.

We booked a flight to Orlando for 8 people, we then called the agent after to get price for another person. We then paid and received an atol cert and receipt; this was not broken down to who was paid etc and the info received has been very minimal.

Last week when ringing airline they advised this person was not booked and was just reserved, therefore we could of got to our holiday date and the other person not being able to get on flight.

We spoke to agent who said this person has not been added and from what was quoted at just over £600 is now £900 plus, however they will pay £100 towards costs as we have had very little info.

I feel this is unfair to charge this, and do feel breach in contract. The company is ATOL protected not bats(not a clue what bats is!).

To be honest, we are now very concerned about the whole booking.
We have had minimal contact and have paid over £2060.

Where do we stand on this?

We have sent an email but had no reply. Can we claim our money back on this and pursue this legally as an infringement of legal rights

    Reworded, as it was horrendous.

OP, unless you had confirmation that you had booked another passenger, then no, they weren't booked on. I don't see how it is breach of contract, unless you paid the £600 and gave strict instructions to book the seat there and then, but your original post doesn't say that, it just says you "Paid" - did you pay for the original 8, but not the 9th, or did you pay for all 9 of you?

If, you just got a price and didn't pay for the seat, then you don't have much of a leg to stand on. If you cancel, then you may lose the whole cost.

You need to provide much more information.
