I put the ikea under cabinet lighting in my kitchen, about 8 years ago.
A couple of them, near the kettle suffered from the steam & started to go funny.
I saw these in lidl & bought them.

The quality is far superior to the ikea ones (I keep hoping lidl will get them back in so I can replace the other ikea ones) I dont think ikea even sell them anymore.
I've gone completely low energy lighting inside & out - I think.......
Are these strip lights the low energy type?
Or is there lower energy?
I understand all the other bulbs, but these long skinny ones, I've never understood if they are normal or low energy.
I would like to be completely low energy, if these are not low energy, are there replacements I can buy that fit into the same link system?

Those are low energy as well because they produce a lot of light 3650lm (lumes) from 35W of electricity (compared with 400lm from an 8W standard low energy bulb) but they are not suitable for under cabinet lighting unless you plan on doing brain surgery0
