I'm looking for a Tablet-y thing, with built in Mobile Internet (ie. like a dongle, not Wi-Fi, needing a hotspot), with around a 10" screen.
It needs to do web browsing, email, and have a program to import, resize, and upload photos (JPEG) to the net.
I want it on PAYG, not contract, and preferably on 3.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

iPad Wifi+3G with a data calling-plan SIM from 3 ?

Two things.
Maybe I've missed it, but I can't see where it says it has built in Mobile Broadband, as opposed to using a phone, or a Mi-Fi dongle?
Also, I can't see where it offers PAYG?0 -
A tablet labelled as having 3G or 4G will have mobile Internet capabilities. You'll need to put a SIM card in it with a data allowance to use the Internet on it.
With Three you can get a mobile broadband PAYG SIM for it.0 -
built in dongle? you mean it connects to internet via 3G / 4G. The "dongle" is the hardware that enables this.
If it states 3G or 4G it can do this.
A dongle has a SIM card also doesn't it? the effect is exactly the same Im sureFriendly greeting!0 -

Thanks for that Tropez and danthemoneysavingman.
While I've lots (well over 5 years) of experience using Dongles, I know practically nothing about tablets.
On the other matter I mentioned, will I be able to import, resize, and upload photos to the net, from it?
BTW. I didn't actually say "built in Dongle". I said "like a dongle".0 -
i'm sure there's an app for that ;-)
you can get such info searching on google.Friendly greeting!0 -
