Hi all,
I have read the sticky, and around 50 diff posts on the names in the title of this thread but im still unsure of a few things and need further clarification, my head is now hurting!!
I recieved an LBA from Debt Enforcement & Action ltd.
This relates to a PCN from 2010!
I ignored all previous stuff but due to the law change i need to do something with this one.
What i need clarification on is the following:
1) This is a third party, can they even take me to court? I read in another thread that a third party cannot do this but just wanted to clarify this.
2) i have read about Practice Direction and tried to compare the letter to that and i think it does meet the requirements, so i cant contest on that basis, can somebody confirm (after taking a look at the letter, page4)
3) Should i bother responding, im confused because i shouldnt ignore an LBA but then its a third party, not CEL themselves.
I could argue that because i genuinely wasnt the driver POFA2012 doesnt apply as this was 2010.
I have scanned in the letter but I am unable to add attachments so how can i do this?
Anybody?
Lastly if mods think this thread is a waste of time then please close it by all means.
Thanks for looking

This is another attempt to scam payment out of a pre-POFA ticket.
Keep-on ignoring them and come back if you get proper court papers - which is very highly unlikely.

I have read that thread and i will ignore this letter.
But i do want to complain to coop about this harassment 4 years after the alleged parking violation.
Ive searched the newbies thread and cant find any reference to an email address to complain.
Ive checked this thread:
parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/have-you-received-court-claim-from.html
And it references another thread back on this site again. lol
Anybody have this email add contact please??0 -
Presumably you'd missed the other current thread about complaining to the Co-Op - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5064506
Read post #10 for details of a current email addressMy very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
