Can you live off of the minimum wage?

During study money is money.
Does this bar job relate to your degree? After you graduate aren't there min wage jobs related to your degree? That would make more sense.0 -
I did plenty of minimum wage jobs after I graduated - sometimes you have to take what you can get.
I was able to live on minimum wage in Manchester, but with the following conditions:
- was in a flat share with a friend, so split rent and bills
- public transport, could not have possibly run a car
- cheap phone
- very little social spending: the occasional cinema trip yes, a big night out, no.
And I wasn't amassing any savings, so if you are hoping to save up for something (another course/retraining, for example) you will have to budget incredibly hard, work all the overtime you can get, and live somewhere extremely cheap.0
