Can anyone recommend a good ad blocker for android smartphone please?

    Depends upon the OS version as to how well they work .
    In later OS versions Google have made ad blocking more difficult .

    Adaway .
    Are two to try .

    Some Apps contain in app adverts in most cases to remove you buy the ad free version .
