    At least 20 left in Morrisons (Pudsey/Bramley) @ £4.99.

I think the HP books are brilliant, just think what they have done for literacy in this country ( and probably abroad too) - as compared to the various "Government Initiatives" over the years.
In 1996 JK Rowling received an £8000 grant from the Scottish Arts Council to enable her to continue writing. Don't diss Government initiatives - if it hadn't been for taxpayer support she would probably have given up.
  • £5 in Asda, just been to the one at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol and they had loads left if anyone is interested?:money:

Disgusted that ASDA Coatbridge had none by 0930 this morning! My Mother wanted the book today, went to Morrisons in Airdrie and got it a penny cheaper (1 per customer but no requirement to buy anything else!)

    Huh?

Asda were selling them far cheaper than anyone else and of course they have limited stocks. Why are you disgusted when you went in 9 hours after they started selling them. My asda was almost cleared out by 12:30 AM, never mind 12 hours later.

It's nothing more than a promo tool to Asda and after there initial stocks go it's back to £8.xx (whatever they set it to be a few bpence below tesco.) At the end of the day it's only a book.
