Ticks and Crosses Help...

I don't know if anyone can help, but I had to update my Macbook this morning along with my phone and since it's been updated my ticks and crosses haven't been working properly...
I've been working my way down crossing those comps I have no interest in, then have gone into a comp entered it so ticked and thanked the OP but when I go back to the main page it has no ticks or crosses, I have to refresh the page for them to show.
This has never happened before and it's annoying. Does anyone have any ideas why?

Weirdly, that was happening to me when I switched over from using Safari to Firefox... But yesterday, it just suddenly started working!
What browser are you using?0 -
It's always done that?
If you actually go into the post and click the tick or X then just hit the back button you have to then refresh the page to show the updates because your just looking at the cached page from before when you clicked into the post.
If your on the listing page and just the wee x there it will update straight away.0 -
If you're in Safari, try the following:
1) Go into Preferences, and click the Advanced Settings button
2) Put a tick in the 'Show Developer on Menu Bar' button at bottom of the menu
3) Click 'Develop' on your bar at the top, and select 'Disable Caches'.
That might work, if it's continuously trying to load the cached version of the page.0 -

It hadn't always done that in my browsers (Safari and FF on Mac iOS Lion), and it's definitely something you recognise when it stops happening!0 -

Thanks, it is Safari I use, I tried this but it didn't work
It's really annoying! Here's hoping it just starts working again like your did!!0 -
Yes - I didn't do anything to my computer... It was bizarre!
Stupid question, but have you tried restarting both computer and Safari?0 -

yup did that! Normally whenever anything of mine breaks that's always the way I fix it, turn it off then hope for the best when you turn it back on again!0 -

I use IE and it has been like that for me for ages although it never used to. I'm guessing it has something to do with my settings but I'll be devilled if I can work out which/or how to sort."The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming"0
