I was really grateful for the encouragement and support here at the time.
Well, we've been together ever since, without a cross word spoken, and I just wanted to let you know that we've just got engaged.
It'll be quite a while before we actually tie the knot, as practical circumstances (housing/children) still prevent us from living together, but we're very happy.
