Vaccinations for last minute holiday

We are hoping to have a last minute holiday in January or February.
For various reasons we cannot book in advance, which means getting vaccinations will be difficult.

We are thinking of the Carribean or Indian ocean, which is really exciting.

My big problem is what do we do about vaccinations, (which I think need to be about 8 weeks before we go).
Do we just pick a destination, and get the vaccinations for that country in November, and just hope that is where we go?

Anyone else had this dilema? any suggestions?

Could you narrow down your destination options?

Then check these websites for the vaccinations that are recommended - remember that very few are compulsory - and have the ones for your destinations.

that is the problem exactly, its hard to narrow down where we are going to go, as we wont know what holidays are available in Jan/Feb, as we will need to book at the last minute.

You might not need to get any 8 weeks before, i am off to Mexico and gp said 2 weeks prior to travel was fine but not any later.
